Today is Sree Maha Mariamman Temple Kumbabishegam. The temple is now called the 'Golden Temple' from the 'Pink Temple'. For the past one week there were lots of people working around the clock in putting up today's event. For weeks, about 20 perists chanting mantras which can be heard till my house. Today there were prayers held for the food preparing @ 5am which was prepared opposite my block. The food was given out at the open field in front my block. This is the crowd picture I took from my corrider. Oh boy! have never seen so much of Indians in Yishun....
There is also a little video, taken of the funniest commotion happening while the devotional songs was going on sang by our local singer, which was not that powerful but one by one Indian makkals got trans and if u watch carefully, there is a lady in purple suit going around and stopping the trans. Whenever a man gets into trans, the other lot starts to clap and make noice.. there were some even taking videos with their mobiles. I was laughing my lungs out.
