Its Monday and its fire walking. I was shocked to see a heavy down pour when I stepped out of the station. I really hope all the fire walkers have done their walks successfully.Ever since I started working in Chinatown, I was blessed to go to temple on fire walking.
I prayed for my parents who have not been well lately and hope by December I see some changes in my Life.
Going back to Sunday, I went to temple in the morning to see the prayers which is done before doing the fire pit.There are 2 different prayers which I always wanted to see for years. And when I ask my family or friends about it. The only word they will say "NO, are u crazy.. it will be so crowded". Finally this year, I told myself, I always do things alone why must wait for someone to bring me.. so I headed to temple myself and I manage to see one of the prayers. The whole atmosphere was amazing. Devotees clapping and saying "OM SAKTHI" at one corner, volunteers preparing at other corner and there was little fight among the oldies on getting a place to sit.I manage to get a clear view of Amman and the Tharbathaiamman's drama which was put up. I closed my eyes and prayed and I felt for a second that all my prayes will answered soon. It was sense of relieve.
Back to work with my pants half soaked. My thoughts are all on the familiar face I saw but sadly...??!! I know I cant ask for too much.
